Painted Nursery Dresser

Yay! It's finally done...and I love it!

In case you haven't seen it yet, this is what the dresser looked like before:


...and the old handles.


I decided to remove the middle door altogether and just put a basket in there. First I painted the outside but then it looked like this:


So I decided to add a bit of fun material to the back. I could have picked something more subtle that matches a bit better, but you can barely see this and I thought Elias might like peeking in at it when he's a bit older.



I even used wood filler to fill in the holes where the small door was attached- you can barely tell there was ever a door there.





The handles got a spray paint finish in "celery".


The changing pad is getting a makeover right now too so it's not back on the dresser yet.



It gets the Elias seal of approval!
