Festive Wreath #1

So remember on this post when I said we need a festive wreath?

Well I saw this great idea at Thrifty Decor Chick and I just had to try it for myself.

So here is our new door!

It is a dollar store door! I bought a $1.50 wooden dollar store frame and a garland of maple leaves and used my glue gun to put it all together.

The top corner is a few pieces of the accessories that came with the garland...not sure what they are supposed to be, but I think they work well with the whole look. I love the square shape because it frames our peep-hole and our number.

I'm looking forward to making a "frame-wreath" for every occasion!

I hope you are excited to see them too.

  1. Totally had to pop over here and see if the square wreath was a picture fram like I suspected. What a clever idea! I think I'll have to do this for my very own front door!
