Perfect Paper Snowflakes

Did you know how to make the perfect paper snowflakes? I've been prepping these for an upcoming winter party. Making as many as I can so I can do something like this:



The instructions are above, but I thought I'd share mine too! Start with a square piece of paper or an 8.5X11 and fold such as:


Cut off the excess.


Fold in half again.


Then fold in three like so:





Cut the ends off to make a triangle.


The following are a few of the patterns I tried out and how they looked.
