Big Changes

I have decided to do an overhaul of this blog. I plan to post a lot more in the upcoming year since I will be off work and I want a nice pretty new space to do so.


I still have a lot of work to do before I make the switchover so I would love any ideas or feedback you have. Anything you would change about Smiley Melly the way it is now? I'm toying with the idea of changing the blog name itself as well. What do you think? Too many people think that it says "Smelly Melly" and I'm not sure how I feel about this...

I'm looking for inspiration for a new name, but it hasn't hit yet. Below is a word cloud made from this blog, I'm using it as a starting point. (Want to make one of your own? Try Wordle)


I'm also trading in the purple, mint and coral colours for something new, but I think I will keep the grey. (Did you even notice those were the colours I was using?)

Any thoughts or ideas for a change? What do you think of when you think of me or the blog?

    Some recommendations: browse free blog templates and color designs as a starting point! It'll help you to identify what you like and don't like, and that's a huge first step.
