Four Months!

One third of my year at home with my baby is gone! People always say "It goes by so fast," and, "Make sure you enjoy it." I can honestly say that I'm enjoying every minute of mommy-hood. I have my rough moments, but really- I know there might be a day when all I want is to snuggle with my baby again and I don't want to wish any time away.

As for the "It goes by so fast," comment. I both agree and disagree. I understand how time appears to fly, but in the past 4 months so much has happened. It felt like four months. I can understand how on his first birthday it will feel like he was just born, but I feel like the more moments I treasure the less time will seem to fly.

To my little baby:

You are SO happy aLwAyS! Smiles and giggles... and every morning when I get you from bed you give me the most wonderful smile. Everyone who meets you falls in love with you. Daddy and I just can't get enough of you. What was life like before? I remember it, but it seems strange to think there was a time I didn't know you. This past month you were baptized, attended a party and  rolled over all by yourself and, you always seem to be trying to get somewhere. I know as soon as you start crawling you will never want to stay in one place. You are also so chatty now. I think you want to tell us something and while we don't understand the words, we love to listen. I also think that you just might be getting some teeth soon since your hands are constantly in your mouth. Since hands in the mouth is your new favorite thing, it's also your picture this month with a beautiful fall leaf (real men can wear purple. ;) )

God has blessed us so infinitely.

I love you so much and am savoring this wonderful time with you so that I never have to say that it went by too fast.
It was so challenging to pick only five outtakes this month, I might have to share more later. He was just too fun to photograph yesterday!
