Fabulous University Student Decor

Alright everyone- have I got a treat for you today! I have been begging Erica to give us a tour of her room since she got back to University and yesterday she said she would do it! Erica doesn't do anything halfway though, she didn't just do pictures, she's also giving us a video tour! It's fantastic!

I'll let her do the rest of the talking, enjoy!

Today I get the wonderful privilege of guest posting for my sister's blog! My name is Erica and I am a 4th year university student! Melanie has been asking to me guest post for a while now and show my room! So…. Welcome to my humble abode!

For those of you who prefer pictures, here are some of the room. They help show the colours a little better.

The curtains are actually black- the lamp is just making them glow purple!
Yes, these curtains are actually purple!

I love decorating and of course being a university student you have to do most things on a budget. Almost everything in my room I bought on sale either at Wicker Emporium, HomeSense, or Jysk, most other things were gifts.

If I can offer one piece of advice to those of you who need help getting organized it would be BASKETS! As you could see throughout my room I have baskets everywhere. This is really what helps me to stay as clean/organized as I do. Everything has a place and it doesn’t always matter how clean and organized it is in the basket, but your room will always have a clean finished look to it!

Thank you for visiting my room! Hope you enjoyed it!

Erica-Eve

P.S. This isn't the first time Erica has posted here! You may remember this great post, so creative! I need her to come help me out! Do you love her room?

  5. Erica,
You are so organized and creative! I bet having an organized environment helps to keep your mind clear for work. I especially like what you did with the cool black and white poster and how you orgainzed the shelf it rests on.

Nice kitty too! I had to look at the video twice - it looked like she was sleeping in a drawer!

  6. Yes, being organized is the best thing for getting school work done! I find I cant focus and start my day without making sure my room is clean!

Thank you! The poster actually used to be hung, but I moved things around in my room recently and the nails in the wall made it hang off centred so I decided just to lean it! (Which I think looks much better!)

Haha hes a pretty great kitty, he's always sleeping on my chair, ill pull it out to do school work and find him on it all the time!
