Hello There Gorgeous!

So we had been looking for the perfect mirror for above the fireplace for the longest time. Repeated visits to Homesense and Winners (with our handy wedding gift cards) were on the agenda weekly.

We just couldn't find one that would work for the space. They were either too big, too small, or more money than we were willing to dish out. I wanted something with a bit of vintage design to the frame. Something that would blend with our vision for the room as a whole.

Then, mom reminded me that they have a few mirrors sitting unused in the basement that we might like, she snapped a couple pictures and I knew that one of them would be perfect!

Their next visit, mom and dad came with the perfect mirror in hand.

Check it out!

I wasn't sure at first, but now I'm thinking that we should actually hang it instead of lean it. Isn't it just perfect though? So much better than ones we were looking at before, and free is a pretty great price!

What do you think?

  1. It looks perfect. And I agree with the idea of hanging it. The lady looks perfect next to it!

  2. Thanks! We are going to have to buy some supplies to get that hung on the wall. It's pretty heavy, but it's going up! The lady was a wedding gift from my sisters- kinda looks like me in my wedding dress don't you think? =)
