It's the Little Things

Aisle to Aloha

This week was full of wonderful little moments, but I will share 3 of them with you today!

My African Violet officially has a flower!

We made pancakes for dinner and the mini pancake our family always makes at the start is my favourite. (Jetty and I shared him).

This moment was my favourite! Jetty and I went out for dinner and this is his plate after he finished his burger. This is after the second application of ketchup he made reaching a little further across the plate. He was leaving the ones on my side ketchup-less in case I wanted to nibble at them. (I'm not a huge ketchup on my fries gal.)

How was your week? Any wonderful little moments?

P.S. My Aunt's book launched yesterday. "The Happy Place" It's beautiful and inspirational and you won't be able to put it down. Take a sneak peek and see what I mean!

  3. YAY for flowers :) They say African Violets are super easy to grow, and yet this gal right here still manages to kill them :( I've never been able to get a bud! I'll hop on over and check out your aunts book!

  4. Yay for pancakes!!! I love them... I failed at making them this weekend... Star Wars molds... not so easy to use. But I love that you guys share the first one :) Super cute!

  5. Hello! Hopping over from the Little Things link up! I also have an African Violet. My grandmother always had them and they remind me so much of her. Love it! This is my first time to visit your blog, and you are just too freaking cute! Love your smile, so the blog name is perfect :)

  6. Yay for African Violets! My grandma used to have one in the "little room" at her house (the room I always stayed in when I visited) so I have a fondness for them. I have two now but neither have bloomed yet. I love them so much :)

  7. Thank you all! I love the African Violet! It's looking so pretty right now! It's possible that the buds from mine came down from my grandmother... I'm not sure, my mom gave them to me, but not sure where she got them! Funny how it seems to be a grandmother thing!
